Terms of service

1. Who you are agreeing with

Inova (Intelligence Innovation), a Nigerian academy and creative studio operating www.ighnova.com. “We” is Inova; “you” is the person using the account.

2. Your account

• Give real details. We issue certificates against them.
• One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under yours, so keep the password to yourself.
• If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent and provide their contact details before you take part. They are agreeing to these terms alongside you.

3. What we provide

Online courses made of video and written lessons, quizzes, practical exercises, and assignments marked by real instructors. Some courses include live online classes. Completing a course earns a certificate with a code anyone can verify on this site.

We add to and improve courses over time. Lessons may be edited or replaced. We will not remove a course you have paid one-off access to without giving you notice and a way to finish it.

4. Payments

• All prices are in Nigerian Naira and include any applicable tax.
• Payments are handled by Paystack. We never see your card number.
• Some courses are free. Others are bought once, or unlocked by a membership.
• Prices can change, but never for a period you have already paid for.

5. Membership and automatic renewal

Read this part. A membership is a recurring payment, not a one-off.

• A monthly membership renews every month; an annual one renews every year.
• If automatic renewal is on, we ask Paystack to charge your saved card two days before your membership expires, so access never breaks mid-lesson.
• If that charge fails, we try again — up to three attempts across a three-day grace period. If none succeed, the membership simply lapses. You are never chased for the money.
• You can turn automatic renewal off at any time from your membership page. Do it before the renewal date and you will not be charged again. You keep access until the date you have already paid through.
• We email you before a membership expires. That is not optional spam — it is the warning before a charge.

6. Refunds

Course content is delivered immediately, so payments are generally non-refundable once you have accessed the material.

We will refund you in full if:

• You were charged twice for the same thing.
• A fault on our side stopped you accessing what you paid for and we could not fix it.
• A membership renewed after you had already turned automatic renewal off.

Ask by emailing ighnovaacademy@gmail.com with your payment reference. Nothing here removes rights the law gives you.

7. How to behave

Do not:

• Share your login, or resell, record or redistribute course material.
• Submit someone else’s work as your own.
• Post anything abusive, harassing or unlawful in lesson questions or answers.
• Attack the platform, or try to reach data that is not yours.

Certificates earned through cheating will be revoked, and the verification page will show it.

8. Who owns what

Course material, the platform and the Inova name belong to us. Buying access gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to learn from it — not the right to copy or teach it commercially.

Work you submit stays yours. You give us permission to store it, mark it, and show it back to you and your instructors. We will not publish your work publicly, or use it as an example to other students, without asking you first.

9. The trainee programme

Being a student is not the same as being on the trainee programme. The programme is by invitation or by reaching a published standard, is governed by its own signed agreement, and can involve real client work. Where that agreement and these terms disagree, the agreement wins.

10. Suspension and closing your account

You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 7, or where a payment is fraudulent. If we close your account for something you did not do, we refund the unused part of what you paid.

11. What we do not promise

We work to keep the platform available, but we do not promise it will never be down, and we may take it offline for maintenance. We do not promise that finishing a course leads to a job, a client, or any particular income. What you get out of it depends on the work you put in.

12. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes, and we will email you if a change materially affects you. Continuing to use Inova after that means you accept the new version.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction.
